Jumpstart Juniors Presentation
The Youth Ambassador Program is a leadership development opportunity open to incoming high school seniors who are interested in agriculture, public service, and personal growth. Participants gain real‑world experience by serving in a role similar to a non‑profit board member, where they help promote agriculture, represent Collin County Farm Bureau, and contribute to organizational discussions and initiatives. Students will attend Texas Farm Bureau conferences and events, network with agricultural and industry leaders, and are treated as full board members throughout their term of service. The program builds valuable skills such as leadership, communication, advocacy, and professional decision‑making—experience that stands out on college and scholarship applications.
In addition to practical experience and mentorship, Youth Ambassadors who successfully complete the program receive a $1,500 scholarship, making it a rewarding opportunity both personally and academically for students passionate about agriculture and leadership.
We are seeking students that have exhibited outstanding leadership, a passion for agriculture, and the desire to grow personally and professionally within the industry. Please complete the Youth Ambassador Internship Application by May 8, 2026. For any questions, please contact: CLeavitt@txfb-ins.com

Local Scholarship Opportunity- 15 Scholarships available!
There is still time to apply for one of 15 available scholarships for next fall!
Small World Scholarship for Collin College
The Small World Scholarship is a full scholarship for two years covering tuition, books, and other related fees up to a total of $4,500 ($1,125 per semester) for students attending Collin College or Collin College Technical School. Please see application for additional criteria and qualifications. Deadline: Friday, May 1, 2026
A note to Denton County residents:
Collin did confirm that students in Denton County can apply for this scholarship and would be considered. They can’t guarantee the scholarship would cover the full cost of tuition (since it costs more for Denton County students to attend Collin) but it would still be cheaper to attend than what they would pay as a non-Collin resident. (There is also a possibility that more money could be awarded depending on availability of funds.)
