Please complete this form to change anything on your 2026-27 Schedule Request after you have had your initial meeting with your counselor. The form is open from February 2 - 20th at 11:59pm, after that time, no schedule changes will be allowed (except program changes) per FISD policy. Please do not email your counselor after submitting this form. We also will not accept email changes. Only changes made to the google form will be accepted. You can view HAC for updates; processing time may take up to 3-5 days.
Reminder: all course offerings are subject to change. Funding levels and student interest may affect whether or not a course is available. Advanced and AP students will remain in those classes until the end of the first six weeks; at the end of the first six weeks advanced/AP drops are the only allowable changes. No changes are allowed after February 13th which includes the beginning of the school year, per FISD policy.
Due to the Ice/Snow Days last week, counselors will work on meeting with the remaining students for course selections this week and next. The district has given a 1-week extension to the previous course selection deadline. All course selections are viewable in HAC for students and parents to review for accuracy.
New Course selection Deadline: February 20th, 2026
Please only fill this form out if you have already met with your counselor for final selections, and still have a change to make. Do not fill out prior to your final meeting!
If you need to submit a change, students will need to complete this google form by 2/20/26 at 11:59pm. This form is only accessible to students who are logged into their FISD accounts. Parents will receive notification that a change was requested. Counselors will work through 2/27/26 to make any changes. No changes will be made to schedules after this deadline, except for program changes listed in our Academic Guide (band, choir, orchestra, drill team, cheer, color guard, athletics, ac dec, debate)
Summer School through Texas Tech or UT Austin:
Summer school courses taken through TTU or UTHS require permission from the counselor to start the course, please make sure you have spoken to your counselor about this option before completing the form. Students are not permitted to take or start courses outside of FISD without permission from the counselor. If you will be taking a course this summer outside of FISD please complete the process below. This is available now to get permission- deadline for approval is 5/22/2026.
Student completes the Correspondence Tile in their Student Portal
Parents will receive an email to approve the course; we cannot approve a course without parent approval as there is a fee involved.
Counselor will approve/deny the course and the student will receive the response.
All summer courses must be completed (final grades and transcript received) by 7/31/26 to move to the next course- see form permissions for more details and requirements.
Student course selections for next year should reflect the NEXT course desired if summer school is completed.
Frisco ISD Summer School:
Details for FISD summer school will be released in April and we will email the details home. You can review this website, although this is last year’s information, we don’t expect many changes. This will give you an idea of courses offered, timeline and cost. This will also require counselor permission when it opens.

Thank you for attending our Dual Credit information meeting this morning. If you were not able to join, don’t worry, below we have linked the presentation and the recording for you to review.
Please note: If you have already completed a dual credit class and are already a dual credit student, you do not need to reapply to Collin or complete a new permission form. You will only notify your counselor in your one-on-one meeting, which courses you would like to take next year. This presentation and steps is for any one who is NEW TO DUAL CREDIT for the summer of 2026 or for Fall of the 2026-27 school year.
Next Steps:
If your student wants to take Dual Credit next year and has not previously taken a dual credit class, their first step is to Apply to Collin College by going to Applytexas.org and completing and application to Collin. Your application must be processed before moving forward. All students must have a CWID number before they can move on to next steps. Please take care of this first. The processing time for this is typically between 1-3 days.
Once you have your CWID your student can complete the FISD permission form. This will come to the students email first, once the counselor and student have placed the students in a dual credit course.
Students will sign the FISD permission slip sent via email
Once the student signs- the form will go to the parent to sign- parents must log in and sign this document
Review all remaining steps in the presentations!
Deadlines:
Application Deadline March 2 – we do not recommend waiting this long since FISD course registration choices must be completed by 2/12
FISD permission form- Due April 2
Collin Holds completed: Due April 2
Payment Deadline- May 15th
