Seniors on 1/26
9th-11th 1/30
Hello Lions!
We are excited to begin the 2026-27 course registration process with our individual meetings for course verification. Below is the schedule for each grade level. Dual credit students will also be called in during this time. Students and parents are currently able to review their selections from their 4 year plan updates in HAC. Please note, this is what students entered in November/December and have not met with a counselor. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure accuracy.
Schedule:
Current 11th- next year 12th: January 12-16
Current 10th- next year 11th: January 20-23
Current 9th- next year 10th: January 26-30
If you student is absent or missing the day we call their class, we will use February 2-12th to meet with them.
How to review course requests in HAC:
Student must log into their HAC account
Click the "Classes" tab
Review 2026-27 section
Please note: students cannot make changes here on their own, the changes will happen in the meeting with the counselor.
What to Expect in the 1-on-1 Meeting:
Counselors will:
Review verification forms from HAC 4 year plan updates.
Discuss and review graduation requirements, pathways, electives, student goals, etc.
Update course requests in the Home Access Center (HAC).
All changes will be visible in HAC once completed. If we do not receive feedback from you or your student, we will assume the selections are approved.
Making Changes to Course Selections
You can still make changes after the individual counselor meetings. A Google form for submitting changes will be emailed home February 2nd. The deadline to make changes is February 12th, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
District Rules for Schedules changes after the individual meeting:
Students pre-enroll in the spring semester for the upcoming school year, and the master schedule will be based on that information. Students will be able to see and change their course requests, pending availability through February 12, 2026 by contacting their counselor (at Reedy this will be via a google form) After this date, no course changes (including all CTE classes, core classes, and level changes) are allowed. Exceptions that will be allowed are athletics, band, choir, orchestra, color guard, drill team, debate, and Academic Decathlon. These must be requested by the 7th school day of the year.
Advanced, AP®, and International Baccalaureate (IB) classes may only be dropped at the 6 week mark of a course or at the end of the semester, and course availability may impact options. The decision to make a schedule change will need to be made between the teacher and parents in the best interest of the student. Students are required to follow campus procedures regarding schedule changes. Campus administration has final approval and discretion on all schedule changes.
Please let us know if you have any questions along the way. I am also including additional resources below to aid in your course review.
