Smiling at the crowd, senior Mary Albertson followed the cheer routine during the Homecoming pep rally on October 6. The varsity cheerleaders did a combined performance with freshmen cheer members during the pep rally and ceremony the following night.

During the cheer performance at the homecoming pep rally, senior Mary Albertson was stunted into the air. “Before I fly I run through the counts in my head and try to stay as tight as possible, it’s a lot more nerve wracking cheering at pep rallies because all your classmates and teachers are watching,” Albertson said.

Senior Homecoming maid, Mary Catherine Johnston, was escorted by varsity football players George Herrell and Evan Shelby. "I was walked by my best friends from Pre-K, we came up with an awesome handshake that will be remembered for years to come," Johnston said.

The Southern Belles formed a group of volunteer "Boy Belles" to participate in a dance at the Homecoming pep rally. "The hardest part of Boy Belles was having to learn all the dances in such a short amount of time," Kobe Gonzales said.
