WHAT I'VE LEARNED:
Don't be afraid! Starting my journey as a photographer I was camera shy. I was afraid to put myself out there and get good angles and shots. As I grew, I learned that the only way to capture something is if you put yourself right in front of it.
While being in journalism I have learned that every picture has a story. I have worked to tell the stories of every event going on at Southside, whether that is me sending photographers or going myself. Here are a few of the events I have captured as a photographer:
