Silver Cord Volunteer Program

FHS Student Services started a new volunteer program in 2019 to help encourage and embrace civic responsibility by our student body in our Fond du Lac Community.  This will help students develop community relationships, provide leverage on college applications, resumes, etc., create a better understanding of self, develop a stronger academic and career plan, and so on. You can start your hours NOW! This program is open to any interested student.

The vision of the Fond du Lac School District Counseling Program is for every student to acquire the academic, career, and personal/social skills to achieve their fullest potential and make a positive difference in their home, workplace and global community. This statement summarizes the intent of the program.

We currently have 108 youth waiting for a mentor. YOU can be the bright spot in a young child’s life, your activities giving them something to look forward to, that helps them get through the school day and whatever’s going on at home.
