A Partnership with Moraine Park Technical College
Earn a Manufacturing Fundamentals Certificate (average salary $46,210) and an Automated Manufacturing Technician Technical Diploma (average salary $56,090) before you graduate from FHS! You are only 15 courses (4 of which may be awarded through prior learning) away from earning your Advanced Manufacturing Technology Associates Degree from MPTC (salary range $60,460).
Additionally you will have a pathway from Manufacturing Fundamentals Certificate to a 4 year Bachelor's Degree! Your classes will transfer and guide you in the process of earning a bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at UW-Oshkosh.Â
Students will move through these courses in a cohort. All of the courses listed above will be considered laude courses.
Any classes that are offered at MPTC will follow there calendar schedule NOT Fond du Lac High School's schedule.
The Application Process is an important piece of the Robotics, Engineering and Manufacturing academy. Students should apply sophomore year. Approximately twenty students will be accepted into the academy each year.
Requirements:
Must be a current FHS sophomore.
On track in math with a plan of completing College Algebra Senior year or before.
Must be willing and ready to commit to a 2 year program.
Interested in Robotics, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
