FHS Student Services - Honor Roll and Laude

FHS Student Services

Honor Roll:

The purpose of an Honor Roll is to provide student recognition for academic achievement. Honor Roll recognition will be published twice a year at the end of the 1st Semester and at the end of the 2nd Semester.

Honor Roll Tiers:

Distinguished Honors - 3.8 and Above GPA
High Honors - 3.6 - 3.79 GPA
Honors - 3.4 - 3.59 GPA
Honorable Mention - 3.25 - 3.39 GPA

Laude System:

The purpose of the Laude System at Fond du Lac High School is to recognize students for the rigor of their academic program as well as their success in that program. It also encourages student to participate in rigorous coursework. The Laude System will enable students to pursue a track of study containing more diverse curricular options based on their interests.

There will be four award levels:
Honors
Cum Laude
Magna Cum Laude
Summa Cum Laude

GPA Criteria:
3.25 (Honors)
3.4 - 3.59 (Cum Laude, 18 semester minimum)
3.6 - 3.79 (Magna Cum Laude, 20 semester minimum)
3.8 and above (Summa Cum Laude, 22 semester minimum)
