Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), also known as affinity groups or employee networks, are voluntary, employee-led organizations within a company or organization. These groups are formed based on shared characteristics, interests, or experiences, such as ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disabilities, or interests like parenting or environmental sustainability. ERGs provide a supportive community where employees can connect, share experiences, and collaborate on initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.
The Cinco Llaves Latinx Collective is a community space for those who identify as Latinx/Hispanic/Chicano/etc. We hold monthly meetings in which we discuss issues important to the Latinx community, with a focus on serving Latinx students better, and on addressing the needs of Latinx staff! We also share our traditions with the greater school community in order to build cultural awareness and competence.
