Estimated Payments, Extension Payments, Payments from Last Years Refund

On the left side of your screen, the Forms In Return section, there are headers that will expand options for forms that we support.


  1. Select "Payments" to expand list.

  2. Click on "Payments".This will display all pages that can be added.

  3. Locate and Select "Estimated Tax or Extension Payments," from the list.



Total Estimated Payments & Amount Applied from Last Year's Refund.

Enter the total federal estimated payments made along with amount applied from last year's refund.

    • Do not enter State Estimated Payments here. You will enter State Estimated Payments within the State Return.

    • Do not enter any Federal Withholding here.



Divorced Spouse's Social Security Number:

If the taxpayer got divorced in the current tax year and made estimated tax payments with the former spouse, provide the former spouse's Social Security Number.



Total extension payments:

Enter the total amounts paid with Form 4868, or other extensions




Form 1099 Withholdings (Not Already Entered)

Enter any Federal Withholdings from any Form 1099(s) that are not entered into system.

    • Form 1099-MISC(s) that have a Foreign Payer Address.

    • Form 1099-OID

    • etc.

DO NOT enter any withholding that is entered or will be entered elsewhere in the system.
