Form 1099-K Income Through The Form 1099-K Page


Form 1099-K Information entered onto the Form 1099-K page will be carried over onto the Schedule 1. 


To have your Form 1099-K carry over to the Schedule C or Schedule E, you will need to enter your Form 1099-K information onto those pages directly. Please scroll down and see further instructions below.


*Please note: When the Form 1099-K income includes more than one business/activity, you must allocate the amount of income that belongs to each separate activity/business.

Step 1. Once you're within your Tax Return, look for Forms In Return on the left. Then, scroll down to the bottom.

Step 2. Click the "Federal" drop-down selection.

Step 3. Click the "Income" drop-down selection.

Step 4. Within the listed "Income" Forms section, scroll down and click "Form 1099-K".

Step 5. Click "Add New"


Form 1099-K Income Through The Schedule C

Amounts from Form 1099-K that are entered directly onto the Schedule C will be reported as Gross Receipts or Other Income.


To access the Schedule C, use the same Steps 1-4 listed above however, once you get to Step 4, select "Schedule C Profit or Loss from Business".


Once on the Schedule C Profit or Loss from Business page, enter any applicable or required information. Scroll down to see the Form 1099-K Income Amounts section. 


Form 1099-K Income Through The Schedule E

Amounts from Form 1099-K that are entered directly onto the Schedule E will be reported as Income.


To access the Schedule E, use the same Steps 1-4 listed above however, once you get to Step 4, select "Schedule E Supplemental Income and Loss General Information".


Once on the Schedule E Supplemental Income and Loss General Information page, enter any applicable or required information.
