Expectations of an ASPIRE Student

As an ASPIRE Student we expect:

• Let Rebecca Kelsay (ASPIRE Coordinator) know if you have any questions or concerns
• Communicate with your teachers at least one day in advance of missing class
  • Your mentor and you should decide ahead of time the date and time of your meeting so you will be able to contact your teachers and let them know when you will miss class, allowing yourself to get the information you missed and complete any necessary assignments
• Come to all agreed upon meetings with your Volunteer Mentor
  • If you miss three appointments, you will need to meet with the ASPIRE Coordinator to discuss continuing in the program
• Be respectful
• Be on time
• Be prepared (i.e. if you have agreed upon goals to complete before a meeting)
• Be ready to work!
• Communicate through email only with your Volunteer Mentor
• Sign-in to the CLC if you meet after school with your Volunteer Mentor
