Fetch has two different types of partners, they are Peer to Peer or Standard.
A Standard Fetch Partner must carry commercial fleet insurance in order to become a partner with Fetch. Peer to Peer Partners do not have to carry fleet insurance but instead are covered through the DigiSure Protection Package offered by Fetch.
There are certain restrictions on P2P partners that don't apply to Standard Partners including, limited pricing options, limited mileage options for vehicles, and a different profit take-home percentage.

After completing the standard verification process, the renter's profile is sent over to Digisure where they will run additional screenings which includes identity verification and pulling an MVR or Motor Vehicle Record. Renters may be disqualified for things like low credit, felonies, or a bad driving record.
During the verification process, Digisure may reach out to the renter to provide additional information in order to verify their identity.
Verification through Digisure typically takes only a few seconds. The only time there is a delay, is when the customer's account goes into review. Reasons why the account could go into review, are things like a mismatched phone number, email, or address.
After the Renter is approved by Digisure, Digisure will then create an insurance policy for the rental. Once this is complete, the reservation will show as approved and the renter may access the vehicle.
If a renter is involved in a collision while in a P2P vehicle, their personal insurance would be the first insurance to kick in. The policy provided by Digisure would be secondary.
For the owner of the vehicle, their Digisure policy is the primary policy.
