Beatriz Milhazes

Children will look at the work of Beatriz Milhazes this half term, focussing on the skill of collage. Children will look in depth at her work by using view-finders to draw sections of her artwork, then begin to experiment with replicating her use of colour, pattern and layering to create intricate collages. 

Children began the topic by looking at collages by Beatriz Milhazes. They identified common themes and colours, then used viewfinders to copy sections of her artwork.
