Dear Families,
In light of the DOE releasing their calendar, and their recent decision to push back their in-person start date, we have decided to push our in-person start date back to Wednesday, October 14th, following our fall break. You can find this change reflected on our family portal where you can find additional details and resources to support your child and family during this school year, including a DRAFT of our yearlong calendar. In addition to the new in-person start date, we'd like to call attention to changes to this year's calendar:
Election Day & Juneteenth will be observed holidays this year. There will be no school on either day.
All in-service days when teachers have training students will receive asynchronous (recorded) instruction and will still be required to attend morning meeting. These days are highlighted in a new, purple color. The first of these days will be Monday, November 2nd.
Spring Break has been moved to align with the DOE's break.
We've removed the state exams from the calendar as the state has not yet shared guidance on them. This does not mean they are cancelled. As we learn more about the state exams this year, we will share it with families.
Part of Exceed's funding is based on data collected in the Family Income Inquiry Form. We need 100% of families to complete this form - it will only take 15-20 minutes! Here are some quick instructions:
