It is with great pride and joy that we enter the month of June. Scholars closed out the month of May taking both their ELA mClass Assessment and the Math IA Round 4 Assessment. Scholars continued to RISE up and show their learning. We still have lots of learning to do and opportunities to connect with the scholars, so please ensure that scholars are at school daily so that they don't miss out on any of the opportunities to learn and connect with their teachers and peers in the upcoming weeks.
Here is some important information and upcoming dates to keep in mind:

We are excited to continue our partnership with you this month. There are so many great things happening in our school. June is a month where we continue to teach scholars new things that foster critical thinking and prepare them for the next grade level. Please ensure that your scholar is present each day for school. We value what they bring to the school community and look forward to seeing them!
This month students will take assessments in ELA that will measure their reading fluency and comprehension. Please ensure that they are reading each night and joining class Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 12:50 p.m. On these days students receive targeted reading support in small groups. Please ensure that your scholar logs back on to Zoom in the afternoon to finish the school day. On Wednesdays, scholars should join for Morning Meeting, RISING Circle, and then complete independent work in Google Classroom. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
Thank you for all that you have done to collaborate with us this year. Your partnership is truly appreciated!
