Hello First Grade Families!

Our first week of school was a smashing success! The first graders are getting used to our routine, schedule, and doing many things on their own.  We've started our phonics review with the short "a" sound, and started our math calendar and collector. Ask your first grader what we are collecting this month! Scroll down for photos from our first week!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

--Please send a complete set of clothing to school each day with your student. Accidents happen!

--Please check that your student's water bottle is spillproof! We have had a few full water bottles knocked over onto floors and desks this week!

--If you did not send an art smock to school yet, please do so! Art will most likely be messy (yet washable.) A larger, old t-shirt works great!
