Hello First Grade Families!
THANK YOU to all the families who attended our Presentations of Learning this week! PoLs are an important part of what we do here at Étude. I know the first graders appreciate being able to sit down and show you all their wonderful work!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Etude Movie Night is tonight in the gym! Free admission. Parents must supervise children--this is not a "drop off "event. Popcorn, pizza, beverages and crafts for sale. Movie will be Super Mario. Please sign up to attend Movie Night here.
Home Learning is due next week on Tuesday, March 10th. Note that there are TWO sheets to fill out--the Sheboygan brainstorm and the Parent Interview!
BLACKOUT! FUNDRAISER is coming! Tuesday, March 17th, 4pm-8pm. Details below.
Yearbook orders are still open! You can find the flyer here. Prices are lower if you order before March 10th.

Friday March 6th, 5-8pm--Etude Movie Night in the Gym.
Tuesday, March 17--BLACKOUT! fundraiser 4pm-8pm in the Gym. Kids 5.00, Adults 15.00 (for a wristband to play; if you are not playing, attendance is free. There will be 2 adult only rounds of BLACKOUT!)
Blackout is a mix of an obstacle course, flashlight tag, and capture the flag. You will start in a line with the first person in line sitting in a square. During Blackout you crawl and slide your body across the gym and through the obstacles to find the Orb. The Orb is a glowing ball that is hidden in, on, or under things. A person in the Bunker, at the other side of the gym, is waiting with a flashlight. If they shine the light on you, you must go back to the beginning using the one way Return lane. When someone finds the Orb they yell “GOT IT”. They will then become the Seeker in the bunker for the next game.
When students aren’t in Blackout, board games will be available to play in the cafeteria. Blackout is a fundraiser for the school!
