Hello First Grade Families!

It's been a busy week! We completed our unit 4 assessment in math and finished up our body book pages for the digestive system. Up next, the moment all the first graders in room 118 have been waiting for...the nervous system and the brain!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Complete your permission slip in Skyward for our field trip!The first grade classes will take a field trip to the JMKAC Art Preserve on this comingThursday, Februarty 12th. Please note--you must log in to Skyward and fill out the permission slip online before Thursday.

Valentine's Day Party:  We will be having a small celebration and Valentine exchange on Friday, February 13th! Valentines are always optional, but if your student would like to hand them out, here is our class list:

If anyone needs assistance purchasing Valentines, please let me know via email.

Extra clothing still needed! Please send a complete set of weather appropriate clothing for your student to keep in their locker.

Our classroom wishlist: Consider a purchase from our wishlist in honor of your first grader's birthday or a holiday. You can find it here.  

Send a peanut-free snack to school with your first grader every day:)
