Hello First Grade Families!
We have been hard at work here in room 118! In phonics we talked about "exceptions" to the "bossy-e" rule, and learned when to use -es at the end of a word. In math we continue to explore number lines. This week we also took the STAR reading and math tests, and joined the other first grade for a friendly "Kahoot" quiz game about the bossy e!
In PBL we finished up the circulatory system (heart, arteries, veins) and began learning about the respiratory system. We spent three days on our circulatory body book pages and let me tell you, they are IMPRESSIVE!
Scroll down for photos of our body book making!
