Biography
I am a fourth-generation Colorado native. I grew up in Evergreen, Colorado, and graduated from Evergreen High School and Warren Tech. My initial career passion was culinary arts and the hospitality industry. I went to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. I returned to Colorado after graduating and worked in Admissions for Johnson & Wales helping high school students understand the college application and scholarship process. Through that experience, I discovered my love for working with high school students and I became a teacher in the Culinary Arts Program at Warren Tech. I came to Englewood in 2013 and had the pleasure of starting the culinary arts program. After teaching culinary arts for 15 years, I started my degree in counseling. I have loved transitioning into this new role.
I am married with two great kids, a daughter in 7th grade and a son in 5th. They keep us busy with football, softball, and basketball. We enjoy camping, fishing, and biking in our beautiful state!

Biography
I was born and grew up in Denver and graduated from Denver's Abraham Lincoln High School. I have followed a career path in Psychology since college, but with a few detours. I spent several years working for the famous Tattered Cover Bookstore in Denver, which fed my love of books and literature. In my counseling work, I have always worked with youth, starting with preschoolers, then many years with elementary school students in both Denver and Englewood. I found my best fit with high school students after serving as a youth leader at my church, and I truly enjoy working in the high school setting and being a part of this exciting time of life for young people. In my life outside of my work at EHS, I have my own family with 3 young adult children, and I enjoy theatre, reading fiction, cooking & baking, walking my dog, mountain hiking, golf, rollerblading, and getting outdoors in my native state of Colorado.

Biography
I was born and raised in Aurora Colorado with my mom and older brother.
I've always had a passion for helping people and changing the world for the better. I originally wanted to be a Neurosurgeon (a doctor who works on the nervous system), but I still remember the conversation I had with my 8th grade science teacher. He knew how empathetic I was, and how I loved having deep relationships with those around me, so he had to break it to me. He knew the only way I could be successful in that field is if I was able to disconnect and detach from my patients (which, knowing me I couldn't). That one conversation then changed my path for the better! It ignited my passion to pursue psychology (and no I don't want to be a therapist for those same reasons above). I graduated from Eaglecrest High School in 2018 and attended MSU Denver that following fall. I managed to survive college during COVID and graduated with my BS (Bachelor of Science) in psychology.
I have a two fur babies named Maxxwel (two xs because he's extra), and a new puppy named Ricotta (yes, like the cheese).
My purpose for being here is to inspire and remind students of the light that's within them. I hope to remove the barriers that prevent students from reaching their full potential.
I love astrology and astronomy, so let's talk about the stars and planets while we navigate post-graduation options!
