This Year’s Erasmus Adventure Begins in Pamplona!
K - 121 - 48 students 16 teachers from different European countries
Croatia - Serbia - Italy - Turkey
This year, our K-121 mobility guests are joining us from Serbia, Croatia, and Italy. We’re also delighted to welcome our job-shadowing guests from Turkey. Together, we’ll enjoy Pamplona’s warm and welcoming atmosphere while working towards our shared European project goals.
As usual, the opening ceremony took place on Monday morning, the first day of the mobility took place in our school’s theater. While it had an official touch, it was truly a special event!
It was a beautiful presentation where diplomas and certificates were handed out. We were delighted by a stunning flamenco dance performance and several other musical acts. After the ceremony, everyone came together to enjoy a delicious breakfast and share a few joyful moments.
Later on, we had some free time before joining the Spanish workshop. It was great fun — we enjoyed activities like guessing famous people, teaching Spanish to our Serbian, Croatian, Italian, and other international friends, and playing a lively game on Spanish basic vocabulary.
In the afternoon, we visited Espacio San Fermín, where we watched videos and learned about the famous San Fermín festival. We also toured the Town Hall and had some free time to explore. To finish the day, we took part in the Pamplona a ras del cielo experience, where we admired the city from above — it was absolutely breathtaking!

On Tuesday, we went on a guided tour to the Museum of the University of Navarra, where we saw an exhibition called “Historias Migrantes” by Celia Paredes and Vik Muniz. Afterwards, we did an activity in English about the story of a migrant person we know. Later, we walked to the Citadel of Pamplona, where some students explained its history. To conclude the morning, we visited the Cathedral of Pamplona and enjoyed a guided tour there.

On Wednesday, we had to take the bus very early to visit Urederra — the natural outlet of the aquifer formed in the karstic rock massif of the Sierra de Urbasa. When the bus stopped, we had a snack and then headed towards the amazing turquoise waters of the Urederra River’s source. We stopped many times to take photos and walked for a while, but it was really worth it.
Afterwards, we went to Estella, had lunch, and enjoyed a bit of free time. A few hours later, we had a guided tour of the town and learned many interesting things. In the afternoon, we all went to La Morea — some people went bowling while others went shopping. It was a wonderful day!

On Thursday, we created beautiful souvenirs using the cyanotype technique. We learned how to create incredible blue-toned prints using sunlight or ultraviolet light and different natural elements like leaves. Afterwards,we took part in an escape room organized by the “Mancomunidad”. We worked in teams solving challenging problems. Just before lunch time, we visited one of the most emblematic places in every Spanish town: the bullring. During a guided tour, we learned all the details about bull running and bullfighting. Afterwards, we played inside the ring and took some really cool pictures.
In the evening, our team of teachers took a well-deserved break to unwind, connect, and enjoy the Juevintxo night together. We tasted delicious pintxos and danced the night away!

Friday was the last day... In the morning, we made some presentations about what we learned during the whole week. Then, we presented them in front of everyone. After that, the organisers gave us our diplomas and we took group pictures.
We also prepared everything for the final party: everyone was dancing, taking pictures, and laughing together. It was so much fun, but also a bit sad because we knew it was the last time we would all be together...
We think we all made a really friendly group and enjoyed this week a lot!!
It was AWSOME!!! Thank you very much for coming: we have really enjoyed your company! Take care and see you soon!
