Anais Irubide: Today in our first day in Palermo we have gone to the high school where students have made us a tour through it. It was really big. They have many laboratories and new sport installations. There we have played voleyball and badminton. We had a great time all together.
Later, we went each one with our familes to have lunch (famous pasta) and we made some activities with them like training sessions. Great Day!
Tuesday, 3rd March
During the morning, the group started their journey at the salt flats of Trattoria del Sale, in Sicily, Italy. There, ir was shown in detail how the salt is extracted from the sea, along with an explanation of the typical vegetation and wildlife in the area. We found it all really beautiful and interesting, and the explanation was very clear and enjoyable. Then, we got back on the busto go to the charming town of Erice, also in Sicily. There, students had free time to explore, taste local food, trying traditional dishes, buy souvenirs, or just enjoy the atmosphere. Some sat down to chat, others walked in the hills, and everyone had a great time. On the way back by bus to Pamplona, the Italian guides shared interesting facts about the scenery. Once we arrived back in Palermo, each person chose their own plan: some met with families, others with friends, some went to classes like judo, swimming, or singing, and in the end, they all had dinner according to their plans.

Lastly, some of us met at a bowling alley to play bowling and have some fun while listening to music.
Friday, 6th March
On this day, March 6, 2026, we woke up and got ready. Then, everyone went to school with the food they had been asked to bring.
A little while later, we were all gathered together to finish a presentation about our country, which had to include: traditions, places to visit, typical food, etc. Each group talk about their country, which was great because all of us have learnt about the different cultures and traditions without having been there. Afterwards, we received diplomas about our Erasmus experience.
Later, we went to the gym for a snack and dancing, where we spent a great time; there was a wide variety of food. In the evening, we all went out to a party together to say goodbye and have some good farewell memories.
