Erasmus Adventure continues in Becej - Serbia!

K - 121 - 24 students 6 teachers from different European countries (20th April - 24th April)

Croatia - Italy - Spain -Serbia

First day of the program, and it already felt insane 🤯✨
We met people from Sicily, Croatia, and Serbia, and the vibe was instantly amazing 😝

Then we had a quick introduction to Serbia, along with some basic Serbian and Hungarian classes. After that, we did icebreakers and sports—and somehow, we all became friends super fast 😂

In the afternoon, we visited a science museum and did a treasure hunt around Bečej 🗺️🔎

At night came the best part 🥳 We had dinner together, laughed non-stop, and just chilled 😎
Honestly, a 10/10 day—no joke 💯🔥

Climate Change workshop

On Tuesday, April 21, we took part in a cultural trip to Subotica and Palic Lake. 

First, we explored the city with a professional guide, who explained its rich multicultural heritage, architecture, and traditions. We walked through the streets and observed important buildings, like the Sinagoga, and local life. 

After that, we visited the lake, where we enjoyed the natural surroundings and took photos. Later, students arte d a workshop about human impact on nature, focusing on the pollution of the lake. It was an interesting and educational experience that helped us understand the importance of protecting the environment.

Wednesday 

Today, many activities have been done with the Erasmus group. In the morning, we participated in a very interesting workshop about "how young people can help and improve society in their countries". We shared ideas and experiences and discussed different points of view. Afterwards, we hiked to a monastery, enjoying the scenery and the great atmosphere among everyone. Later, we visited a town that is historically very important to Serbia, where we learned about its culture and traditions. It was an enriching day, which gave people the chance to connect and there were many special moments to be remembered.

Thursday

on the 4th, the Erasmus team went to the capital city of the region Voivodina, Novi Sad. We arrived at 10.30 am to the Parliament and there, we were welcome by the President, who gave us an explanation of the country, its regions, regulations, languages and some traditions.

After that, we went for a walk around the city and we visited the orthodox church, where a priest explained the building construction and its historical symbolism and the orthodox culture of the city.

In the afternoon, we visited the Petrovaradin Fortress, where we were able to see a wonderfull view of all the city and the Danube. There was also an explanation about how it was built and why and we we could enjoyed walking around till 17:00 pm.

Friday 

Today, was our last day and we have made some activities in the highschool to say goodbye to the people and the country. First of all, they have given us Erasmus certificates and then the students debated about the EU value of freedom and civic rights, focusing on the idea that everyone has the right to choose where they feel at home in Europe. Then, we have made a quiz to see if we remembered the history of Serbia and the places or monuments we have visited. Finally, all the students made a tiktok video with all the Eramus memories to share our feelings during the week.
