Reminder: Check Your “Sign in with Google” Connections

As we continue preparing for the move to Gmail and a unified Google login this summer, we’d like to remind you to review any third-party websites or apps where you've used the “Sign in with Google” feature.

If you’ve ever signed in to services like Canva, Trello, or other educational tools using your @edu.sturgeon.ab.ca address, those logins may stop working once we switch your account to @sturgeon.ab.ca.

What You Should Do:

• Review any sites or apps where you use “Sign in with Google.”

• If your @edu.sturgeon.ab.ca account is used:

  • Update the login to your new @sturgeon.ab.ca email address (if supported), or

  • Create a new account using your new email.

• Add a backup login (such as a username and password) if the site allows it.

These small updates now will help you avoid service interruptions when the transition happens in July.
