As we approach our transition to Gmail during the week of July 7, please take a moment to check whether you have set up any automatic forwarding of messages from your Gmail account to Outlook. This includes settings that might send a copy of your Gmail inbox to your Outlook inbox.
Why this matters:
Once we complete the switchover, Outlook will no longer receive new emails. If you leave forwarding in place, messages may appear to be "missing" or delayed because they’re trying to redirect to a system that will no longer process incoming mail.
What you need to do:
Open Gmail and click the Settings gear icon (top right), then select See all settings.
Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
If forwarding is enabled, click Disable forwarding.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Taking care of this now will help ensure a smooth transition and prevent confusion when the switch happens.
