The phone number for the School’s Secretariat is 022 787 2620 and can be used for general contacts with the School.
General email for the School should be addressed to carole.giboz@ecolint.ch .
The best person to contact with any queries or concerns about a student is almost always the Mentor. The mentor will deal with your son or daughter on a regular basis and have the best first-hand knowledge. As a general rule, always try them first.
Email is the preferred means of for contacting teachers, since they will usually be teaching in the classroom. Their school email addresses follow the pattern: firstname.secondname@ecolint.ch. Click HERE for lists of teachers’ names and by departments.
Alternatively a message can be left for the teacher by contacting the School Office. Parents should leave a number or email address where they can be contacted. Unless a teacher has indicated a willingness to receive calls at home, parents are requested not to call a teacher's home number.
Members of staff will endeavour to respond as soon as they reasonably can to communications from parents, but please bear in mind that the core activity of teaching and looking after children inevitably means that they may not be instantly accessible or able to make an immediate response.
Mobile phones may be of use to students (communicating with parents about travel arrangement for example), but they can also be a real nuisance within the School itself. So if a student needs to bring a mobile phone to School:
it should not be used at inappropriate times during the day – e.g. during lessons!
it is liable to get lost or damaged, so don’t bring an expensive one
it should not be seen purely as a fashion item
it must not be used for inappropriate purposes – phoning someone in the next-door room for a chat is not proper use.
it is expressly forbidden to take photos or videos of someone on a camera-phone (or any other device) without their knowledge and permission. The school will take a serious view of any breaches.
