Students travel to school using a number of means of transport: on foot, by bicycle or scooter/motorbike (wearing appropriate helmets), by School bus (LINK) or by the excellent Genevan tram service. Tram 12 stops at Grange-Canal, just outside the School. Bus 5 stops at Florence on the route de Malagnou, a short distance behind the school.
Parents who wish to bring their children in cars will find that the congestion problems around the Campus can be very severe, especially at the start and end of the school day. Parents are respectfully requested to observe the dropping-off and picking-up regulations published by the Campus Principal and to be aware that parking is very restricted indeed. Sadly, parents who park inappropriately are liable to receive parking tickets.
Students must not at any time park a car within the campus or on or alongside the chemins de desserte which lead from le chemin de la Chevillarde to la route de Chêne.
If parents (or senior students) transport other people’s children at any time, it needs to be fully understood by both parties – i.e. both by those providing the lift and those agreeing that their child should travel in someone else’s car - that the School can accept no responsibility whatsoever. The insurance liability lies entirely with those providing the lift. Please bear this in mind when agreeing any arrangements.
