Have you ever heard of Wings of Fire? It’s a (fantasy) series about dragons who fulfill prophecies, fight evil, and learn about the world. Book sixteen, The Hybrid Prince, is coming out in March, and the graphic novel form of book nine, Talons of Power, is coming out this January.
Gordon Korman's Gifted series starts with the novel Ungifted; it is about a boy who is supposed to get in trouble, but files get confused and he accidentally gets sent to a gifted and talented school. The newest book in the series, HyperGifted, is coming out in February.
The Last Resort is a book about a girl talking to ghosts, and releasing not only who the real villains are but also that she doesn't need to try to hold on to connections with her fake friends. The next in the series is The Claiming, to be released in January.
The Babysitters Club, a book series about a group of friends who run a babysitting business together, has a graphic novel version. Book 19, Dawn on the Coast, is coming out this April.
Have you heard of Warriors? It's a fantasy series about cats who live in the wild. The third book of the series Changing Skies is coming out in March of 2026. Heard of Jason Reynolds? His book, Soundtrack: A Novel, following a teenage drummer who becomes an underground subway sensation, is coming out in April of 2026. Heard of Sarah Dessen? Her book, Change of Plans, a reflective coming-of-age love story, is coming out in May of 2026. Have you heard of Roshani Chokshi? Her book, The Swan's Daughter: A Possibly Doomed Love Story, a romantic fantasy inspired by Swan Lake, is coming out in January of 2026. Heard of Isabel Ibañez? Her book, Graceless Heart, a lush historical and romantic fantasy, is coming out in January of 2026. Have you heard of Kasie West? Her book, Room to Breathe, a "locked-in" romance set in a school bathroom, is coming out in January of 2026. Melissa de la Cruz’s book, Sibylline, about three friends who attempt to steal a magical university education after being rejected, comes out in February of 2026.Have you heard of T. Kingfisher? Her book Nine Goblins, a tale of low fantasy and high mischief, is expected in January of 2026.
Have you heard of Alice Oseman? Her book Heartstopper #6 is expected to release in July, serving as the final graphic novel in the beloved series. Tahereh Mafi release her book Every Spiral of Fate, the fourth novel in the Woven Kingdom romantasy series, which is highly anticipated, in January of 2026. Leigh Bardugo’s book, Six of Crows: A Darker Shore, featuring letters from Ketterdam, is scheduled for 2026. Jennifer Lynn Barnes’s books, The Gilded Blade and Glorious Rivals are both listed as coming soon in 2026. Lex Croucher’s book, Bridget & Gabe Are Not Okay, the sequel to the bestseller Gwen & Art Are Not in Love, is scheduled for August of 2026. Soman Chainani’s book, Young World, a speculative thriller about eight countries putting teenagers in charge, is set for release in 2026. Marissa Meyer’s book, The Escape Game (co-authored with Tamara Moss), a thriller involving intense escape rooms and a mysterious on-set death, is due in April of 2026.
Sarah J. Maas’s book, the highly anticipated sixth book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series is expected to be released in 2026. Leigh Bardugo’s book, Ghosts of Wrath, the long-awaited third book in the Alex Stern (Ninth House) series, is scheduled for September of 2026. Rick Riordan’s book, A currently untitled eighth book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is slated for a 2026 release. Cassandra Clare’s book, The Last King of Faerie, the first book in The Wicked Powers trilogy (part of the Shadowhunter Chronicles), is estimated for 2026. Sabaa Tahir’s book, The second book in her Heir duology is expected to arrive in 2026. Shannon Messenger’s books, Book 10 and Book 11 of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series are currently projected for 2026 releases. Maureen Johnson’s book, Truly Devious Book 6, is expected in 2026.
