Have you heard about the Fall comedy? The Fall comedy is the play that select 6th, 7th, and 8th graders put on in November of each year. Some previous comedies include The Champ and The Punch Line, and this year, Fractured!
This year's Fall comedy, Fractured, follows a princess named Esmerelda played by Grace Petrunak who lives in the fairytale kingdom of Aluminuminum. Esmerelda falls in love with a man from the real world named Lance A. Lot (Evan James). When the serious Queen (Kyleigh Greiss) and the zany King (Asher Causa) get wind of this romance they do everything in their power to stop their daughter from seeing Lance. While all this is going on, the kingdom of Aluminuminum is stuck in limbo because nobody from the real world is reading fairytales anymore. Now throw in Lance's creepy stalker Cigi (Bonnie Kenny),two guards that are always competing to be the best in the castle (Kaitlyn Glickman and Lydia Frei), a fairy godmother named Zelda who isn't very good at her job (Sophia Kuebler), and the hilarious Wizard who always wants to steal the spotlight (Jonah Rumley). This show is an outrageously silly 4th wall breaker that you won't want to miss!
If you are interested in seeing this awesome show or just coming out and supporting your peers, the performances are November 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
Do you want to get involved in LMMS Theatre? If you do, remember to always watch BuzzTV for more information about auditions or stage crew applications. If you missed auditions for the Fall comedy this year, don't worry because coming up in January is auditions for the Spring musical! (more information in December.)
To wrap things up, this year's fall comedy will be super fun and it really would be a shame to miss it! Also remember the theater department here is like a family and we are always excited to welcome new people!
