DCS junior Allison O'Hanlon became the district's all time leading scorer with the team's win against Middleburgh on Friday, January 18, 2023. She needed just 22 points to break Madison Meyer's 2022 record of 1,572 points - but Allison scored 30! Allison has verbally committed to Siena College, where she will continue her academic and athletic career as a member of the women's division I basketball team.

Madison Meyer was a member of the girls varsity team at DCS starting in eighth grade and was captain for three years. She reached the 1,000 point mark as a sophomore. In 2022, Meyer became the all-time-leading scorer for girls basketball at Duanesburg, ending her career at DCS with 1,572 points as a varsity player. Her record has since been broken by Allison O'Hanlon (DCS '24). Meyer graduated from Duanesburg in 2022 and currently attends Skidmore College where she is a member of the women's division III basketball team.

Allison O'Hanlon scored her 1,000th varsity basketball point in an away game at Berne-Knox-Westerlo as a sophomore in 2022. Allison reached the milestone on a free throw in the third quarter and finished with 24 points in a 80-62 win for the Lady Eagles.
