Field Trips

Field trips are part of the Wycallis educational program. A permission slip giving details of the trip will be sent home by the teacher several days before the trip is scheduled to take place. The permission slip must be returned to the school, signed by the parent/caregiver, on or before the deadline date.

No student will be permitted to go on a field trip without written parental consent, using the school's permission slip.

Students are required to stay with their group on a field trip and travel with the class on whatever transportation has been arranged. The principal reserves the right to deny a student’s field trip privileges due to academic concerns, excessive tardiness, poor attendance and/or poor behavior.

Chaperones, if needed, are selected by the classroom teacher from the list of Parent Volunteers who have been approved by the School Board and have all necessary clearances on file. No other relatives, younger siblings, or friends are permitted on field trips.
