Whenever there is a delayed opening, the elementary schools will not open before 10:55 AM. Proper supervision is not available before this time. Classes will begin promptly at 11:10 AM.

Whenever an emergency early dismissal is announced, elementary students will be dismissed between 12:00 and 1:00 PM as indicated in the announcement.

Parents are also urged to make plans for their child in the event that they are unable to be at home when the bus delivers the child. Children need to know what to do. When parents of young children do not meet the bus, the driver usually returns the children to the Wycallis Office.

All bus runs are usually completed by 4:20 PM. If your child does not report home at the normal time, contact the school at 570-674-7283. In the event that your child is not still on the school bus after speaking with the school, parents can notify the local police department or call the Safe School Hotline at 1-800-418-6423, ext 359.
