If an Apprentice was made redundant on or after 15th October 2020
Make sure you ask the employer for a dismissal notice detailing the date of dismissal.
If it is possible to deliver the rest of the training and the EPA then the apprentice can continue without an employer. So long as we evidence that we have made every effort to find new employment.
The ILR must be adjusted to show the employment status.
We can continue to deliver for 12 weeks whilst we make every effort to find new employment.
If an employer is found:
A new price must be negotiated with the new employer and new enrolment paperwork completed.
The apprentice must be withdrawn from the previous Apprenticeship agreement (Cannot be transferred).
If an employer can't be found in time:
If a new employer cannot be found within 12 weeks, the apprentice must be withdrawn on the date of the 12th week after the dismissal date.
A record of apprenticeship part completion must be provided containing:
The apprentice details
The level and subject
The start date and planned end date
The percentage of the apprenticeship completed
A summary of the KSB developed and evidenced
Details of any completed units or qualifications than are mandatory to the standard.
