Blaze Orange
Using blaze orange marking tape and black marking tape- wrap trees, telephone poles, or other structures in orange or black tape. Take your class outside and at a distance ask them to identify the items that are wrapped in tape of either color. They should quickly see how the orange tape increases the visibility of the object. Discuss connections between this experiment and blaze orange hunting requirements.
