Guide/credit
WILD/Aquatic WILD requires additional coursework and submission of an assignment for 1 re-certification credit [Department of Education]. Guides provided upon completion. [See upcoming courses and workshops.]
Growing Up WILD requires completion of specific activities for CEU's [Department of Human Services] OR 15-hour professional development for 1 re-certification credit [Department of Education]. Guides provided upon completion. [See upcoming courses and workshops.]
The goal of Project WILD is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.
Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program focused on wildlife and habitat.

Aquatic WILD uses the same format as Project WILD activities. Guide emphasis is on aquatic wildlife and aquatic ecology.

Growing Up WILD activities build on children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them.
Project WILD, Aquatic WILD, and Growing Up WILD are sponsored (nationally) by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and (in Iowa) by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Iowa Conservation Education Coalition.
