Project WILD Online Module
You must complete the following activities to receive a Project WILD guide. Each activity is detailed below, You can also click on the icons alongside the descriptions to go directly to content for each activity.
Once you have finished the activities, complete the exit survey, and email the coordinator to have your work verified and receive payment instructions. To expedite verification, notify the state office before you begin [edinfo@dnr.iowa.gov.]
Required activities

Review activity set-up. Project WILD - Thicket Game
In order to review activities, you need to understand how activities are set up and how they are organized in the guide.
Required activity: Open the sample Project WILD activity, "Thicket Game" and complete the questions. [Note: You can download the activity or print it out if needed.]
Try activities.
Required activity: Select an activity to try from each of the 3 sections of the guide (3 total) and do the activities.
Activities are organized by section on the Project WILD: Activities to Try page. Each is an abbreviated version from the guide that you can do using minimal resources.
Be sure to do the activity and share on the Jamboard (if applicable) for activities you select.

Select an activity to teach to students. Review the list of activities available online and select one to use in your teaching situation (classroom, camp setting, even a small, informal group).

Required activity: Teach the activity and submit an activity assessment.
Complete the exit survey (required)
Email the state coordinator that you have completed the module. Completion of required activities will be verified and you will get an invoice with instructions for payment.
Submit payment ($30). Once payment is received, a guide will be shipped to you.

If you would like to do the self-guided modules, here is the information to get started:
The modules (WILD, Aquatic WILD) are laid out on a Google site with a list of required activities to be completed to receive each guide: WILD Training Site.
Please take a few moments to peruse the requirements and reach out with any questions. You can work through the modules independently, or with a group - each person in the group must complete the required activities (quizzes, Jamboard posts, etc.).
Once you have completed the activities, notify the state office via email [edinfo@dnr.iowa.gov] with the subject line: WILD online modules. Completion of activities will be verified and you will receive an invoice for the guides. Guides will be shipped after verification of completion and receipt of payment.
