At St. Joseph's Institution, teachers allowed students to choose their school uniforms to wear, such as sportswear for casualness. This is because Singapore is very hot and their classrooms do not have air conditioning. They only have fans. Also, they can carry their tablet computers and used them during classroom.
In the morning, we arrived at St. Joseph's Institution to have our second visit and I exchanged gifts with my buddy.
In the afternoon, I saw a huge waterfall, the Jewel, at the airport. It is very beautiful. Then, we went to Marina Bay Sands and watched the spectacular "Water fireworks". The laser show was colourful, just like a rainbow.
Today before we had breakfast, we had gone to the chapel of St. Patrick School to pray with the Brother and students. After we had had breakfast, we played card games with our buddies. Then, we all went to the cafeteria to have lunch.
In the afternoon, we went to the famous Merlion Park, Supertree observatory at Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, and Little India. The most impressive thing for me was that the Henna in Little India. It's like the fake tattoo and I just spent five dollars, I got a beautiful butterfly painted on my arm. It really looks like a true butterfly!
We went to Universal Studios Singapore this morning and played until the afternoon. We bought something to eat first. My friend and I ate two huge hot dogs, and there were also two glasses of iced cola. Hence, we were very full. After that, we took many photos. And then we went to two exciting roller coasters. I really like to play in the Universal Studios. Besides, we also watched a lot of acts. That place was very wonderful.
After coming to Singapore, I learned a lot about Singaporean history, environment, and politics, such as people cannot keep turtles or birds, and they are just allowed to keep cats and dogs as pet to avoid damaging the natural ecological environment. That's also why we often see birds and chickens on the streets. And another thing is that the tropical fruits were very cheap in Singapore. It's because the tropical fruits are shipped from Malaysia to Singapore. For example, durians, mangosteens and jackfruits. At the same time, these fruits are popular in Singapore and I also love them.
