Day 2
Day 2
We went downstairs for breakfast at 7 o'clock. Then, we went to St. Joseph Institution at 8 o'clock. My buddy took me and my senior classmate to walk around the school. We went to the photo gallery where showed the history of the school. The school campus is actually very precious. The school canteen was very clean. We also experienced the local lessons. Although I didn't understand most of the ideas, I was happy to try and join their chemistry lesson. My buddy tried their best to translate for me in Chinese. I was moved.
Later, we went to Kamal Art Workshop. However, the time was short for us and many of us had to leave before they could finish their second batik.
Day 3
Day 3
Today is Wednesday. We had the congee with preserved egg and lean pork. It was prepared by the generous and helpful Brother Collin, who also offered us a place to stay during the study tour. Then, we left for St Joseph's Institution. I had English and Physics lessons today. After lunch, we went to the library to exchange gifts and take photos. Finally, we said goodbye to our buddies.
Next, we went to the Singapore Flyer. We took a lot of beautiful and intersting photos during the climb. Then, we changed our itinerary after riding the Ferris Wheel as it was raining. We went to the Changi Airport for the beautiful Jewel and shopping centre. We went to the Arab Street afterwards.
After dinner, we went to Marina Bay Sands to watch a laser show. After the show, we returned to the hostel and ended this fulfilling day.
Day 4
Day 4
Today is Thursday. We went to the chapel of St. Patrick's School to have a morning prayer. Then, we went to the library to meet the local students. We had breakfast twice this morning so I was full.
After having lunch to St. Patrick's School, we went back to the hostel for a nap. Then, we went to the Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown and Little India. What impressed me the most was Chinatown because we bought a lot of souvenirs there.
Day 5
Day 5
Today is Friday. We went to Universal Studios Singapore and had fun for the whole day. We rode on the roller coasters and bought gifts. l bought souvenirs of Gingerbread Man and Nemo. After the roller coaster rides, we went to Happy Seafood Village. After eating, we went to the hostel for packing our luggage, and prepared our trip back to Hong Kong.
