Project Overview
Leckie Elementary School is a DC Public School located in Ward 7. The project includes full design and construction services for an approximately 14,500 square feet addition to the existing campus. The new addition shall be designed and constructed to best execute the school's programmatic needs. A new 2-story addition will be added to the existing 4-story brick building built in 1970 to replace the temporary trailer complex. Throughout design and construction the school will remain occupied during the school year and the existing trailer complex cannot be taken offline during the school year, but the existing trailers shall be removed as part of this Project. The addition will bring Leckie ES in closer alignment with current DCPS Education Specifications.
