Project Overview

Barnard Elementary School is a DC Public School located in Ward 4. The project will be a 19,000 square foot classroom addition that replaces the existing trailers on-site and creates a permanent, expanded capacity for the school. The project will be designed to address sustainability concerns by incorporating LEED for School – Gold principles. The Barnard Elementary School addition will be opening its doors to students, staff and the Barnard community in August 2024 for School Year 2024-25.
