The department is continuously involved in many other activities. These include such student oriented extracurricular tasks which goes a miles for all around personality development of the students. These activities instill qualities of working in a team, leadership skills and improved communication between the students.

A. "Green Engines of Change: Plants that Influenced India and the World" by Dr. S. Natesh, Consultant Advisor, National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi on January 25, 2016 under Science Setu.

B. “Second Green Revolution: Can Rice Yield be Further Increased by Supercharging the Photosynthesis?” by Dr. Vivek Kumar, Scientist, International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Philippines, on March 4, 2016

3. Welcome Party

Every year students of 2^nd and 3^rd year welcome the first years’ to the department with full warmth and zeal. Strong teacher pupil interactions as well as senior junior student bonding are the strengths of the department.

4. Farewell Party

Every year students of 1^st and 2^nd year bid farewell to the 3^rd years’ wishing them good luck for a successful life.

5. Teacher’s Day Celebration

Students organize teacher’s day celebration in which they facilitate teachers to show their gratitude and affection. It is a part of teacher pupil interaction where teachers are the guardians imparting not only knowledge and wisdom but also motivating the students and strengthening their personalities.

6. Participation at Inter college and University level Festivals

The Students who were involved in various Innovation projects (in years ) had put up their stalls and information center in University Indoor stadium during University level inter college Innovation project festival - Antardhwani. This gave the students an golden opportunity to discuss their research work with students and faculty member of other colleges. A few students also were lucky enough to be able to explain their work to Dr Dinesh Singh, former Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi.
