       Study the following idioms. You will be tested on them this Friday.

       Idiom - a form of expression natural to a language, person, or group of people. 


Idioms Words of the Week -

 Lose your touch - To lose a skill you once had.

 Off the chain - Especially exciting or impressive.

 To have sticky fingers -   To steal. 


Academic Vocabulary Words of the Week -

retell – to tell again or in another form 

suggest – to offer for consideration: evoke 

support –to uphold or defend as valid or right 


Review the proper use of commas; see Comma Rules in Google Classroom - you will be quizzed and tested regularly.

This assignment's final draft is due next Monday at the start of class. Your work will be published in the Dayton Chronicle, but any not making the deadline will not. Please be punctual. The outline and rough draft are due this Wednesday at the end of class.
