AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT

1. The library lack the required number of librarians and support staff to serve the increasing student population per CHED's standard requirements.

2. Enhance the professional book collection of BS in Travel Management and subscribe professional international and local journals as stated in CHED's policy, standards and guidelines.

3. The Integrated library system is functional but is not enhanced and maximized fully for customer satisfaction.

4. The User Satisfaction Assessment is not used as basis for the improvement of library services.

5. No provision of an area specifically for special and archives collection of the institution to enhance the needs of the researcher.

6. State-of-the-art IT and viewing room to maximize the use of electronic and media resources is wanting.

7. The library downloaded the online database and back-ups was saved in computer. However, there is no evidence of offsite back-up as preventive measures from viruses, hacking and bug down.

8. The seating capacity is limited considering the increased of population the library may serve.

9. The library development plan and is not reviewed and its implementation is not monitored.
