This class provided me knowledge ranging from the Fall of the Roman Empire to the 19th century, leading up to World War II. I gained experience in creating thorough essays using various documents and other sources. I presented on multiple topics, individually as well as in a group. This class further enhanced my knowledge of history and provided me with more insight on how to write detailed essays while using outside document sources.

I was instructed to research the life and accomplishments of Francisco Pizarro. The goal was to further enhance my knowledge on expeditions during the Age of Discovery, or the Age of Exploration. Researching Pizarro and what he contributed to the age, I was inspired by how much effort was put into expeditions, conquests and the innovation that was a result of it all.
This was a group project and we were assigned to create "baseball cards" covering the philosopher's Major Achievements, Famous Quotes and Published Materials. As a full presentation, it is seven slides, however I was assigned to do two slides, so that is what is being shown. I had a great time designing the cards while learning about Galileo and Descartes.
This was a project I created with Jordan Juliano. We were assigned to research a Jean-Jacques Rousseau to better understand the ideas and philosophies during the Age of Reason. It was great to get to work with Jordan on this project! I am very happy with how our presentation looked and the information we gathered from our research.
This was the World History midterm. We were assigned to create a travel brochure for the Black Death and act as a time travel agency. This project was more fun and interesting than I expected it to be! I had an incredible time designing the slides and having the immense amount of information presented in a slideshow that I had to design helped me retain more information.
