Praying for your families to feel the peace, presence and assurance that God is with you.
We make plans but from time to time we are reminded that our posture should be, “If the Lord wants us to…” We will go to the Napa Weekend to Remember and serve there or there might be an ice storm that shuts down the DFW airport and we won’t be able to go. That is what happened the first weekend of February and we got an unexpected weekend at home. The good thing about serving the Lord is His work goes on whether or not I am there. Read what God did in Napa a few weeks ago.

“This weekend, the Lord gave me hope that God really can and will heal the areas of my marriage that felt impossible. We felt like we were seen and we’re not alone. Thank you.” Wife, 10 years married
“My husband and I have been going to couples counseling for the last few months as we’ve had some troubles. This weekend affirmed we are on the right track and has sparked great hope for our future by reminding us to put God first, then our spouse, then ministry and life with others.” Wife, 3 years
“Major impact… life changing. God affirmed so many things that He has been putting in my heart. I desire to work on having a God centered family and home. I want my home to be a safe, loving, joyful sanctuary for my husband and my children. I have work ahead of me, but I know God is able!” Wife, 16 years
“Helped me see that I need to put more effort into my marriage. Doing nothing Will cause us to drift apart. I am the head of the family and my responsibility to steer the ship in the right direction. My marriage/family is a reflection of Christ.” Husband,5 years
“It challenged and encouraged us to be vulnerable with each other and connect intimately again. We found areas to improve upon and found grace to implement steps to look at each other in the eyes and speak the language of love. It was a fun and well organized getaway.” Husband, 26 years
I am so grateful for a coworker that was able to step in as the planner in Napa and that God still did what only He can! He changed lives like you read about above and there were 4 first time professions of faith out of the 300 attending. To God be the glory.
Even though our original plans got canceled, we ended up having a surprising and blessed weekend at home. Rachel was already planning to be in the area for a niece's wedding shower and we got to spend time with her. Then Brandon, Morgan and April (Morgan’s mom) decided to come to town and go wedding dress shopping. While the girls went shopping Brandon helped me finish a house project that I didn’t think I would get done anytime soon. Angie was thrilled to be part of that day and Morgan found the dress!
Prayers for our upcoming busy travel schedule. We will be traveling for work, two weddings and a graduation.
Pray for us as we continue to settle in Krum and meet neighbors.
Pray for us as we help Brandon and Morgan plan their wedding.
Please pray for Rachel as she is working to finish the 3,000 hours needed to be a fully licensed therapist.
Please pray for Billy’s dad as he has an upcoming surgery and his mom as she takes care of him.
