Late last month and early this month our Planner team gathered, along with the Shop and Associate Planner Teams, in Orlando to prepare for the upcoming Weekend to Remember season. While together we had time to praise God for what He did through the work of the Weekend to Remember team's hands last fiscal year. We also took time to pray for one another, pray for the upcoming events this fall, work on our equipment and receive some training. Since we are scattered across the country, the time spent with one another was a joy and refreshing.

Our fiscal year 2024 is complete and the following is a numerical recap of the season and some fun facts. 

• • We had 79 events with 51,788 guests in attendance. Our average event size was 640. 

  • 5,970 attended our Blended Family Breakout sessions.

  • There were 859 salvation decisions that we know about.

  • 18,181 guest indicated a desire to grow in oneness in their marriage. 

  • 23,075 guests want to be a "marriage on mission" where they live. 

  • The Local Volunteer teams received 15,217 prayer requests either on the Weekend to Remember event app, written requests at the event, or emails sent before the events. 

  • When guests were asked on an evaluation how likely they are to recommend the event to others (on a scale of 1 - 10 ) the result was 9.63!

To God be all the glory and praise! 

On a personal note, Rachel decided to take some vacation time and joined us in Orlando. We were able to enjoy some sights with her, see friends, and show her some of the behind-the-scenes prep work necessary for the work we do with FamilyLife. 

We are thankful to be getting everything ready for the thirty fall Weekend to Remember getaways which kick off in September. Thank you to all of our ministry partners, friends, and family for making this possible. We can’t wait to see what God will do this fall. As always, we would love to see you at one of our events.

• • • • • • Rachel has had a 10-year-old boy in her home since late June. She has had to navigate a lot of things on his behalf. Please pray as he adjusts to a new school, teachers, and friends. Pray for her too.   

          • Praise: Morgan graduated, passed her certification test, interviewed, and got a great job! 

          • Pray as we are preparing for the fall season. Our first event will be in Dallas - October 4 - 6. 

          • Pray for lives, marriages, and families to be impacted for the Kingdom.  

          • We give praise as we celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary this month!
