Building Test Coordinator Purpose:

The mission of the Cincinnati Public Schools Testing & Assessment Department is to support your work as Building Test Coordinators in making tests and assessments powerful tools in informing instructional decisions that lead to greater student achievement. Our shared goal is the positive administration of all tests and assessments and the ethical use of evidence from these measures to develop student talent and ability. We embrace assessment as an opportunity to learn more about the students we interact with everyday and develop a fuller and more holistic picture of their strengths and opportunities for growth. Your role as a Building Test Coordinator is vital to this work. Throughout the year, the Testing & Assessment Department will provide you with resources and training needed to support the secure and effective administration of all Pre-K to Grade 12 testing at your building, along with data management and organization to inform your work.

BTC Goals & Targets:

• 100% participation rate for all state and district testing requirements

• Development of building test schedules that support all learners' testing needs while maximizing instructional time during testing windows

• Zero test security violations and breach administrations for all state, national, and local standardized testing

• Ethical use of testing and assessment data

• Ethical test planning and preparation plans.
