HUNT
Hunt is a farmer, single father and is currently the Director of Community Programs at the Hilltown Community Development Corporation and the facilitator of the HCFPC Hilltown Food Council. He has an impressive history of food-related jobs and experiences and provides a systemic understanding of food needs,issues, and the importance of food education.
“We need to find a way to work together, all of us, to fix this broken system. No change is going to happen in isolation.”

"You have a lot of folks [in the Hilltowns] that cannot access food because of the transportation, because of the pricing of it…We have a culture of people in the Hilltowns that don't shop locally, because there are no options."
"You have talented farmers that aren't able to feed their communities because they need to have a certain level of income in order to continue to grow….We don't need to create divisions between rural and urban areas we need to find more of a way to unify them. Rural areas have the land and the space, and a lot of the talent for producing the food, while the markets are in the more urban areas. What is the urban area necessarily giving back to those rural areas to encourage that they still exist?"
