Do you have regrets? Or, are you too young?

Relationships you wished you'd nurtured more...or relationships you wished you had let go of long ago.

A trip you wish you'd taken or one you wish you hadn't?

An email sent or word spoken or words you kept to yourself but now wish you had shared?

Regret can keep us from living fully in the present as we are preoccupied by something in the past that could have been, might have been, wish we'd done...We don't usually think of regret as a positive thing but regrets--whether from 10 years ago or yesterday--give us the opportunity to grow, learn, forgive and practice compassion...usually compassion toward ourselves.

If you are struggling to live fully because of regrets, consider listening to the episode below from The Verywell Mind Podcast, in which host, Amy Morin, interviews author Daniel Pink about the findings he reports in his new book, The Power of Regret and strategies you can use to overcome the regrets that keep us stuck.
